Left: Daune Mahy and her accompanist, Linda Hirt, accept tributes of flowers at last year's Gala Concert. Given by Oberlin-in-Italy faculty and students at the close of each year's program, the concert is broadcast on the local TV station and attended by scouts and music-festival directors from throughout Italy, providing student performers with valuable exposure.
