The AMAM annually undertakes conservation projects related to the care and preservation of the museum's important permanent collection. While the AMAM consults with a range of conservators in many different fields, the majority of our conservation projects are overseen by the Intermuseum Conservation Association (ICA), Cleveland, Ohio. Formerly located on the Oberlin College campus, the ICA relocated to Cleveland in February 2003.
