Public Programs

The museum organizes a variety of public programs in connection with exhibitions and for Oberlin College and the local community. These events are always free and open to the public. For more information, please contact the Education Department at (440) 775-8671, or send us an email.

Please join us for a dance party in celebration of the opening of the exhibition avaf@AMAM

Organized by the Allen Memorial Art Museum in conjunction with Oberlin's Department of Art, avaf@AMAM features a multimedia installation by Brazilian artist Eli Sudbrack’s collective known as assume vivid astro focus (avaf). Enjoy music and light refreshments as you explore a multi-sensory environment of sculpture, graphics, and video featuring campy photographic images, neon colors, and psychedelic animation.
