Arden Dale

Arden Dale served as mayor of Oberlin for two terms, beginning in 1888. Near the end of his second term, Dale ran for Justice of the Peace, but lost the position to Attorney A. Z. Tillotson. Dale died in office, replaced temporarily by O. F. Carter, and later by A. G. Comings by formal election.
