A Bowl of Sunshine

What better way to celebrate the end of the spring term than an impromptu gathering among friends after a week of exams? It’s a common occurrence in Wilder Bowl, considered the center of campus at Oberlin College. The wide open space bordered by trees, shrubs, and limestone buildings invites one to do more than pass through.

Here, students and other campus members might study, hold a rally, work on laptops or iPads, listen to music, or even blow bubbles. Wilder Bowl also is the site for such campus gatherings as the All Campus Photo or annual Commencement ceremonies.
