ARTIST'S STATEMENT:
I used to cut pieces out of magazines and this January I found them and put them together with poems I've been working on. The images have been put into a totally different context (than their original purposes) and add another dimension to the poem's meaning. Right now I am negotiating my own identity, so I guess these pieces are like identity sketches.
