One of 20

Joshua Waitzkin (right), 18-year-old US junior champion chess player, played 20 games simultaneously in Wilder Main Lounge 16 April, including one against first-year student Angela Roberts (seated left). Waitzkin won 17 of the games and drew the other three. The Oberlin chess club sponsored his visit and the preceding tournaments that helped determine who got to play against him. Searching for Bobby Fischer, the 1993 movie about Waitzkin, was shown in Kettering 15 April.
