8:30 a.m.: Organ Prelude--Professor David Boe
8:45 a.m.: Moment of silence--All members of the Oberlin community are invited to join together in silence in memory of those who died in the terrorist attacks on this day a year ago.
8:46 a.m.: Organ Postlude--Professor James Christie
12 noon--1:30 p.m.: Meditative Music
Kecomosi String Quartet--Fairchild Chapel, Bosworth Hall (50 West
Lorain Street)
7:30 p.m.: All-faith gathering--Finney Chapel (90 N. Professor Street)

9:30 a.m--12 noon: All-Community Teach-in on the War on Terror, Finney Chapel

  • Plenary: Congressman Sherrod Brown
    "Congress and the War Powers Act"
  • Breakout sessions: Faculty panels with discussions facilitated by
    staff and students to discuss U.S. foreign and military policy, civil liberites and academic freedom, Islam and the West, the impact of 9/11 on our economy, and issues facing Israel and Palestine
