DESCRIPTION
These are
hand-cranked generators
that can
be used to light the bulb, run the fan, or charge the capacitor which
can
then be used to light the bulb or run the fan. Connect the
genecons
to each other to show that a generator operated in reverse is a motor.
Other things to do with a genecon:
Have students generate equal power to two circuits, one with three
flashlight bulbs in series and the other with the three bulbs in
parallel, and feel the difference.
