DESCRIPTION
The cylinder has three holes at different heights along one side.  Fill it with water and adjust the flow rate to maintain a constant water level.  The increase in pressure with depth is evident from the greater velocity of efflux from the lower holes.  This can also be observed when the water is turned off and the velocities decrease as the water level falls.

The maximum range is obtained from a hole halfway between the top of the water and the surface on which it lands.

NOTES

Set up the water squirter about 38 cm from the edge of the sink.

Hang the black cloth directly behind the setup so the water streams are visible.

The garbage bag is used to catch the spray and channel it into the sink.
