DESCRIPTION

An off-center weighted frisbee has two LEDs, a white one at its geometric center and a green one at its center of mass.  The LEDs can be switched on independently.  Toss the frisbee up in the air with the LED at the center of mass turned on to show that it follows a parabolic path regardless of the rotation of the frisbee.  Use the other LED to show that the angular velocity remains constant even while the linear velocity changes.

 

NOTES

The frisbee requires two CR 2032 batteries.  It has jumpers in place of on/off switches.
