DESCRIPTION
- Laser light is totally internally
reflected within a stream of flowing water. Initially the laser
is aimed through a plastic bottle full of water at a small hole in the
side of the bottle. The room should be darkened. Once the
bottle cap is removed, water will flow from the hole and the laser
light can be seen to be totally internally reflected
within the water stream.
- NOTES
- Set this up over the sink or a tub
to catch the water.
Leave out some paper towels.
Add a small amount of cremora to the water to make the laser beam
visible.
