DESCRIPTION
Dip the bell of the bugle into
the bubble solution. Playing the bugle does not burst
the bubble, showing that the vibration and not the bulk motion
of the air transmits the sound.
This also shows the volume of air
required to blow a bugle.
NOTES
The soap solution should
be a few centimeters deep in the pan.
Mount the mirror so the
bugler can see the end of the bugle, in case the bubble
bursts.
