DESCRIPTION
The Fourier synthesizer generates
two 440 Hz signals and eight harmonics. Each has
adjustable amplitude and phase. Waves can be summed to
produce square waves, sawtooth waves, etc. The sum is
displayed on the scope and can be heard from the speaker.
This can also be used to demonstrate stable Lissajous figures,
for which you can vary the phase angle.
NOTES
Use the synthesizer to trigger
the scope.
Refer to the manual for harmonic
content to synthesize square wave, triangle wave, sawtooth
wave, train of pulses, rectified cosine wave, violin,
clarinet, piano.
