Skeeter is a dark chocolate male, about 2 years old. He is very playful and good natured, but is afraid of other ferrets. He is missing one toe from a hind foot. Skeeter is a little thin, but eating well, and we hope to put some weight on him soon. Entered shelter 9/11/98.

Adopted 9/27/98

Posh was turned over to the shelter with her mom and brother and sister when the owners decided raising ferrets wasn't as much fun as they thought it would be. They are nice looking ferrets, but need some handling to cure their nippiness. Like her siblings, Posh is a true red cinnamon, about 5 months old. They have now all been neutered and are ready for adoption. Entered shelter 8/17/98.

Adopted 9/26/98

Snowflake and Ariel were surrendered to the shelter after a tragic death in the family. They are 1-year old males, albino and sable, respectively, gentle and playful and good with kids. They think dryer hoses are the greatest thing since raisins! Entered shelter 9/17/98.

Adopted 9/26/98

Beaker is a one year old sable male, found wandering in someone's yard. He was covered in ticks (10 were removed). He is a happy bouncey sweety with a high-pitched beeping dook that he uses liberally. He is eating well and putting on some much needed weight. Entered shelter 8/18/98.

Adopted 9/23/98

Chockey and Weazer are about 5 months old, turned over to us by a pet shop because they bit all the employees and customers. Turns out they are just typical rowdy kits that need some attention and normal discipline. Chockey and Weazer have settled down nicely, and are handsome dark sables with black noses. Entered shelter 7/20/98

Adopted 9/19/98

Beanie is about 1 1/2 -2 years old, a blaze wannabe with a little bib and white toes. She is deaf and consequently easily startled, and is frightened of other ferrets. Entered shelter 9/7/98.

Adopted 9/16/98

Chewbacca is about 2-2 1/2 years old, a light sable male with a white spot on his chest and springs on his legs. Entered shelter 9/7/98.

Adopted 9/10/98

Banjo is a 2 year old sable male. He was quite shy at first, but is becoming accustomed to his new surroundings. Entered shelter 8/30/98.

Adopted 9/7/98

Dopey and Spike are a pair of real sweethearts. (Hey we didn't pick the names!) Dopey is a 3 year old dark eyed white male with just one gray spot on his back, and a bit of gray on his tail. His cagemate Spike is a 2 year old chocolate female with white face and bib, and a toothpick wide blaze. Entered shelter 5/21/98.

Adopted 8/8/98

Indie is a 1 year old dark-eyed white female, with just a few grey spots on her tail. She had been adopted out in January, but was returned to the shelter after her owner moved and she was too energetic for his brother's older ferrets. She is a small but fast moving bundle who loves to play.

Adopted 7/18/98

Ramone and Frankie are 3 and 2 1/2 year old males, buddies since kithood. Ramone is a black sable with a beautiful soft coat and dark mask and nose. He is very interested in what people are doing and wants to be picked up so he can watch. Frankie is a playful light silver with big dark eyes and a pink nose, a face you have to love. He likes to follow his big brother around and play in the dryer hose. Entered shelter 4/18/98.

Adopted 7/11/98

Badeetz is a sable female with a light face, about 7-8 months old. She has been well loved and is sweet and playful. I'm told her name is the phonetic spelling for "pretty little one" in Italian. Entered shelter 6/2/98.

Snappy is a gorgeous even tempered light silver male, about 2 years old. Entered shelter 6/2/98.

Adopted together 6/19/98

Cassie and Missy are a pair of rowdy young females, about 6-7 months old. Cassie is a little sable blaze wannabe with a white chest and a couple white toes on just her right front paw, and a white spot on her tail. She appears to be deaf, but that doesn't bother her at all. Missy is a larger plump sable with a white throat patch and brown nose. The two enjoy rough and tumble play, and will happily invite you to join in. Entered shelter 4/19/98.

Ed, formerly known as Cocoa, is a large 2 year old dark chocolate. He is a very happy and bouncey boy, and enjoys playing with other ferrets now that he has been neutered. Ed's coat was very coarse when he came into the shelter, but after being on a good diet for a while, he has put on weight and a lush soft thick coat, and turned into a very handsome fellow. Entered shelter 1/21/98.

Adopted together 6/14/98

Tookey is an 8 month old chocolate male. His has a white bib and a mostly white face, with small splotches where a mask should be. He also has white toes on his front feet. He is a happy fellow who bounces about like he is on a pogo stick, but is also willing to cuddle. Entered shelter 6/9/98.

Adopted 6/11/98
