We have trips each fall and spring break. These trips are led by students with some prior experience and are usually backpacking or canoeing trips although it's up to the trip leader! The club provides transportation, gear rental, money for food, and planning assistance including basic First Aid and Outdoor training for trip leaders.

These trips typically cost 100 dollars but we have a no questions asked, pay what you can policy that you are welcome to use.

If you are interested in going on a trip at another point in the year, let us know and we can help you plan it and rent gear to you.

Upcoming Trips

We will be planning some awesome trips for this fall. The process looks something like this.

  1. We will be sending out a trip proposal form to fill out if you would like to lead a trip.
  2. We will review the trip proposals and send out a form to fill out if you would like to go on a trip. You will be able to state your trip preferences.
  3. There will be a lottery and we'll let you know what trip you are signed up for.
  4. You confirm that you still want to go on the trip.
  5. Your trip leaders will contact you about planning for the trip
  6. If there are more people interested in trips than we can accommodate, there will be a waitlist.

Check back later in the semester, here or on our facebook page if you are interested in leading or attending a trip
