Christ Cares for Cancer!

Relay for Life, is coming around the corner! This year, OCF is going to show support and love for people by participating in the event. This is a way for the fellowship to show the love and kindness of Christ through fundraising, publicly reaching out to people and prayer. It takes place in Tappan Square on Saturday, April 18th at 9 a.m. to Sunday, April 19th at 2 a.m. The money that each group fundraises benefits the American Cancer Society and their efforts to find a cure for cancer. We will take turns walking laps throughout the entire event to represent the hardships that a cancer survivor must face. There will be plenty of music and food, too!

Only one or two people (from our team) will be walking at any given time. For everybody else, OCF will be planning events and activities throughout the day. This is a great opportunity for us to serve, pray and show concern over a worldwide issue as a fellowship of believers.

If you would like to join our team, click the link below and follow the online instructions. If you need help or have any questions, feel free to e-mail
Sujata Murty (Sujata.Murty@oberlin.edu), Amanda Turley (Amanda.Turley@oberlin.edu) or Christine Chun (Christine.Chun@oberlin.edu).

Prayer Groups Listed and Luke's Talk

Hey everyone, I just posted the prayer groups that are currently meeting. Check it out! Let me know if you have one that isn't listed. If you don't currently have a prayer group, feel free to join one!

On a completely different note, you can download the talk Luke gave at Large group here. I know it's been in the Shoutbox for a while, but I thought it would be good to make it easier to find. More news to come soon!

We have a Shoutbox now

You may have noticed a shoutbox at the bottom of this page. You can use it for random chatting, prayer requests, comments, or whatever else comes to mind. If you click the plus (+) sign, you can create a username/password so that other people can't use your name (although you don't have to). If you click where it says OCF Shoutbox, it will open a full window to post. Have fun.
