Nov. 6, 3:15 a.m. An officer on patrol of South Hall smelled incense burning. The room was located and the incense was confiscated. Students were advised of policies on burning in their rooms.

Nov. 6, 3:14 p.m. An officer on patrol of Tank Hall observed a south porch window pushed out of its track, allowing access to the building. A work order to have the window repaired was filed =.

Nov. 7, 2:14 a.m. A resident of South Hall requested assistance with a student ill from alcohol consumption. The student was alert and able to walk on her own. She was escorted to her room where her roommate agreed to care for her the remainder of the night.

Nov. 7, 1:53 a.m. Officers were requested to assist a prospective student, ill from alcohol consumption, at Burton Hall. The prospective’s host agreed to care of the individual during the night. He was given instruction on care of an intoxicated person.

Nov. 7, 5:34 p.m. An officer on routine patrol of Tank Hall, observed three students on the second floor roof. The students came down and were identified. They were advised that no one is permitted on the roof.

Nov. 8, 1:56 a.m. Officers were requested at South Hall to assist with a student ill from alcohol consumption. The student was transported to Allen Medical Center for treatment.

Nov. 8, 4:59 p.m. Officers and Oberlin Fire Department units responded to a fire alarm at the Firelands Building. The cause of the alarm was found to be smoke from cooking. The area was cleared of smoke and the alarms reset.

Nov. 8, 8:16 p.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident in the Field House parking lot. The occupant of a vehicle was backing from a parking space and struck a parked vehicle. There were minor damage to vehicles; no injuries were caused.

Nov. 8. A Residential Assistant requested assistance from an officer regarding a room violation in Barnard. A space heater was confiscated and transported to the Security Office for safekeeping.

Nov. 9, 2:04 a.m. A student called in because she was locked inside Mudd Library and requested assistance. An officer responded and let the student out of the building.

Nov. 11, 10:39 a.m. Officers and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm on the third floor of Barrows. A malfunction was found in the detector and an electrician responded for repairs.

Nov. 11, 11:25 a.m. Officers and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm on the first floor of South Hall. The cause of the alarm was high water temperature. A work order was filed for adjustment.

Nov. 12, 1:20 a.m. A resident of Firelands Building reported an unknown person beraking the glass door on the east side of the building. A check of the area was made for responsible individuals with negative results. A work order was filed for the repair of the door.
