Oct. 30, 10:25 a.m. A staff member reported vandalism to a vending machine in the lobby of South Hall. The bottom portion of the machine was opened and approximately $30 to $40 in product was missing.

Oct. 30, 10:15 a.m. A staff member requested assistance in checking on the well-being of a student in South Hall. The student was located and found to be ok.

Oct. 30, 11:28 p.m. A student was transported from South Hall to Allen Medical Center for treatment of alcohol consumption. The student was kept for observation.

Oct. 31, 12:10 a.m. A Safer Sex Night staff person requested assistance with an intoxicated individual. The individual was located and was taken back to her room with a friend who was instructed on caring for her.

Oct. 31, 12:37 a.m. Officers were requested to assist with a student who was ill from alcohol consumption in Tappan Square. The individual was located and transported to Allen Medical Center for treatment.

Oct. 31, 8:53 p.m. A staff member reported receiving a harassing email from an unknown individual. The incident is under investigation.

Nov. 1, 12:10 a.m. An officer was requested to assist a student ill from alcohol consumption. The student reportedly passed out on the second floor of Keep. The student was transported to Allen Medical Center for treatment.

Nov. 1, 2:20 a.m. A student staff member at Dascomb Hall requested assistance with ill student from alcohol consumption. The student was transported to Allen Medical Center for treatment.

Nov. 1, 1:02 p.m. A student reported her Oberlin College paycheck, previously reported stolen, was cashed by an individual. Oberlin Police Department was contacted and the incident is under investigation.

Nov. 1, 7:06 p.m. Officers and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm on the first floor of Kade. The alarm was activated by smoke from cooking for Oktoberfest. There was no fire.

Nov. 2, 12:16 a.m. Officers responded to a report of an injured student at the maze in Kade. It was learned a student fell approximately 30 feet down a flight of steps. The student was complaining of pain in her back, leg and foot. An ambulance responded and the student was transported to Allen Medical Center.

Nov. 2, 1:16 a.m. A resident of Noah Hall reported individuals tearing things off the walls and harassing people in the fourth floor hallway. Officers responded and individuals fled the area. Several were later located and identified. The incident was referred to the Dean’s Office.

Nov. 3, 2:11 a.m. An officer on patrol located several small, lit candles in a circle on the sidewalk near Warner Gym. The candles were extinguished and a work order was placed for clean up of the area.

Nov. 3, 3:22 p.m. A student requested emergency assistance at Peters Hall. Upon officer’s arrival, it was learned a student passed out and was not breathing. CPR was administered and the student was transported to Allen Medical Center where he was stabilized, then transported to Elyria Memorial Hospital. No further information is known on his condition.

Nov. 3, 9:02 a.m. A student requested assistance from officers after falling off his bicycle near the Science Center. Officers responded and administered First Aid. The student was then transported to Allen Medical Center.

Nov. 4, 1:08 p.m. A student reported she found her stolen bicycle in front of King Building with someone else’s lock on it. Officers responded and transported the bicycle to the Security Office until ownership is determined.of a hot toaster oven.
