Zachary Tucker, born 1982, began to study Chinese language in Fall 2002 and became an East Asian Studies major the following spring.

Last summer, he attended Harvard University’s Chinese Language Program to challenge himself and improve his language proficiency.

This past Winter Term, he traveled to Kunming, China to experience Chinese culture and improve his Chinese. He was planning to attend Middlebury’s Chinese Summer Language School this summer. After graduation, Zac had hoped to return to China for a few years before pursuing a Ph.D. Zac also played hockey for the Plague.
