Review should think before printing

To the Editor:

I do not understand. Was your cartoon on page 8 of the April 5th newspaper, entitled "an Oberlin lifestyle guide for you!" actually supposed to be funny? Or were you just so greatly lacking in decent material to publish, that you resorted to printing trash such as this? Do you think that the entire college population shares this attitude towards connies? How do you think connies are made to feel by such a statement? I think that it is time that the staff at the Review began putting a little more thought into what you are publishing. There always seems to be some article with so little thought behind it or such a great mistake in the Review each week, that I am led to question whether you are actually attempting to print news. Sometimes it seems to me like you are just filling pages with fluff, in order to fulfill the length requirements of your publication.
