Need-blind admissions greatly affect CDS

I am writing this letter in regards to the Review article about paper and Styrofoam cups and plates in CDs this semester. While the article did state that it was due to a shortage of dishwashers, it clearly neglected the most obvious reason for the shortage. This is a direct result of the College's decision to eradicate need-blind admissions. Every year the dishwashing positions are primarily filled by lower income underclassmen on workstudy who cannot find jobs elsewhere. I realize that the College is strapped and has had to make tough decisions, but I would like to point out a current trend. This situation is just one of the more benign repercussions of sacrificing quality students for a bunch of RICH BOURGEOISIE LIBERAL SHITS, whose parents flip the bill. When standards drop everyone is affected, including those who can pay full tuition to receive their degrees for a plummeting institution. I just have one thing to say to the powers that be here - SMARTEN UP PEOPLE.
