With only one more weekend before finals, it's now or never to vent out all your stress by doing something fun. Milk your CDS paycheck for all it's worth before it's too late. A few of this week's contenders:

Remember Little House on the Prarie?  That favorite afternoon '80s drama series set in the 1800s? Half-Pint is back and better than ever in Laura Ingalls Wilder, Growing Up on the Prarie, a theatre series put on by the Playhouse Square Center's Discovery Theatre. Showing May 3 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and May 4 at 3 p.m. at the Ohio Theatre, the production celebrates the spirit of the young novelist's life on the prarie. Tickets are $8 plus service charge. Speaking of prarie life, meet animals of the prarie and enjoy real home-cooked prarie food at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History's Prarie Sampler. Arts, crafts and other festivities run May 3 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and May 4, noon - 5 p.m. Cost included in museum admission; $6. For more information call (216) 231-4600.

Three art exhibitions open for viewing at the Cleveland Center for Contemporary Art today. Kenneth Dingwall: Paintings and Drawings 1990-96, Fashion Moda and Grogory Crewdson open tonight with a reception from 8 p.m. - 11 p.m. For more information call (216) 42198671.

Project Joy's Daisy Days Sale, an opportunity for community members to sell daisies in grocery stores, drug marts and banks runs through May 4. Don't question why, just do it. For more information call (216) 323-2777.

Come and See! A Brief Chronology of the Human Race, a play about just that, officially opens tonight at the Cleveland Public Theatre. The work is based primarily on Goethe's Faust,  but is inspired by numerous other icons of literature including Kafka, Milton and Mann. Tickets are $8 for students. The Cleveland Cinematheque opens up the month with some quality flicks: Kids of Survival: The Art and Life of Tim Rollins and K.O.S. shows tonight at 7:30 p.m.; a new movie telling the story of an art teacher who's after-school creative program in the South Bronx helps keep kids in school. Also at the Cinematheque this weekend, a special 1950s classic double feature: Tennessee Williams' screenplay, Baby Doll, and the Alfred Hitchcock classic, Vertigo. A few seats are still available for the May 4 performance of Great Opera Choruses II, presented by none other than the Cleveland Opera. The show, highlighting several well-known opera numbers, begins at 7 p.m. Tickes are $22. For more information call (216) 579-9745.

The month of May marks the opening of a new exhibit at the FAVA: Karin Eisermann: Paintings in Pastel and Oil. The German-born artist is currently a teacher at FAVA as well as an accomplished artist. Works displayed for sale; admission is free. For more information call (216) 775-7158.
