Dec. 8
5:45 p.m. Safety and Security Officer responded to report of a missing car key from a backpack. The backpack was left outside a racquetball court.

Dec. 9
12:50 a.m. Safety and Security Officer responded for transport to Allen Memorial Hospital for a student who had her finger shut in a door. Student was treated and released.
8:45 a.m. Safety and Security Officer responded to report of bike theft from Zechiel House. Bike is a Tempest mountain bike, 26", red and yellow in color and valued at $600. The bike was locked to bike rack at time of theft.
9:55 a.m. Safety and Security Officer responded to report of an ill student who passed out in South Hall. Student was transported to Urgent Care for treatment and later released.
8:40 p.m. Safety and Security Officer with Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Harvey, first floor. Cause of the alarm was burned food on the stove.
9:10 p.m. Safety and Security Officer responded to report of a stolen bike which was locked to the bike rack at Phillips. Bike is a Sport, men's 3-speed, brown in color, value $75.
9:23 p.m. Safety and Security Officer responded to report of juveniles throwing objects at a student's window. Paint balls were found outside the window area; no damage.

Dec. 10
12:00 a.m. Safety and Security Officer responded to loud noise complaint coming from Wilder Hall, Disco. Manager of Disco was advised.

Dec. 15
2:24 p.m. Safety and Security Officer responded to report of harassing phone calls. Matter under investigation.
1:15 p.m. Safety and Security Officer responded to report of an altercation at Philips Gym. No injuries were reported; all subjects left the area.
3:28 p.m. Safety and Security Officer responded to reported theft of a laptop computer. Computer is a Gateway 2000, laptop, valued at $3,200. Matter under investigation.

Dec. 16
1:28 a.m. Safety and Security Officer responded to meet with a student who expressed some uneasiness about an ex-boyfriend.
4:33 a.m. Safety and Security Officer responded to a report of student receiving threatening email. Matter under investigation.
9:22 a.m. Safety and Security Officer responded to report of several subjects receiving threatening email. Matter under investigation.
11:16 a.m. Safety and Security Officer responded to a report of vandalism to a vehicle while parked in Rice Lot. The vehicle's tire had been punctured. Matter under investigation.

Dec. 17
4:19 a.m. Safety and Security Officer responded to report of obscene phone call. Matter under investigation.
4:00 p.m. Safety and Security Officer responded to report of threatening email received by several subjects at Mudd. Matter under investigation.
1:53 p.m. Safety and Security Officer responded to report of theft of a CPU chip from a computer in Mudd. The chip was valued at $500. Matter under investigation.
8:56 p.m. Safety and Security Officer responded to report of a student receiving an email reflecting a subject matter of poor taste.
