Baseball
vs. Thiel (Pa.) College
Wednesday, March 14, 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

The baseball team will be enjoying themselves in Tennessee this weekend, but they will return to play their first home game on Wednesday against Thiel College, with whom the Yeomen got into a few scuffles last season. Don’t miss the chance to see this heated rivalry.

Athlete of the Week

Sara Jesse

Jesse, a junior from Casco, Mich., has been untouchable so far this season. She hasn’t yet lost a match, or a single game for that matter, in number one singles competition. Last year she was named NCAC First-Team for singles and doubles, and she was also honored as the conference newcomer of the year. Jesse also qualified for nationals last season and finished 14th in the country. Along with sophomore teammate Alaina Fotiu-Wojtowicz, she has also been undefeated in doubles action, defeating John Carroll, Albion and Otterbein. Jesse and company will travel to Michigan tomorrow to take on a tough Hope College team.
