30, 7:47 a.m. A staff member reported the theft of an artificial
Christmas tree from the lobby at the Oberlin Inn. The tree and decorations
were valued at approximately $175.00.
Nov.
30, 10 a.m. A staff member reported a suspicious male making comments
to women in Wilder Hall by Wilder Down Under.
The area was checked with negative results.
Nov.
30, 3:04 p.m. A student reported the unauthorized use of her Sprint
phone card. The phone card was cancelled and a report was filed
with Oberlin Police Department.
Nov.
30, 3:50 p.m. A resident of Barrows Hall reported receiving three
harassing phone calls of a non-threatening in nature. The student
was given information on harassing calls and the Nuisance Call Hotline.
Nov.
30, 11:01 p.m. A student requested medical assistance at
Harkness kitchen. While attempting to open a door in the kitchen
area, a pane of glass was shattered cutting the students wrist area.
The student was transported to Oberlin Medical Center for treatment.
Dec.
1, 11:09 p.m. A resident of Langston Hall reported damage to walls
in the northwest section of the building. Wallpaper was stripped
from the walls and one area of wall was soiled.
Dec.
3, 2:21 p.m. A resident of Dascomb reported the smoke detector in
his room beeping for no apparent reason. Officers responded and
found a malfunction in the detector. The detector was replaced and
the system put back online.
Dec.
4, 3:27 p.m. A student reported the theft of his bicycle, unknown
make/model, gray in color with black gel seat, from Tank Co-op.
The bicycle was registered at the time of theft.
