Established in the summer of 1996, the Oberlin Farmers’ Market
provides space for local vendors to sell their vegetables, fruit, plants, flowers, farm
products and craft items direct to customers. In return for a modest fee OSAP provides
vendors with colorful canopies from which to sell their products, coordinates marketing
and publicity, and supervises market operations. At the end of each market day OSAP
arranges for unsold items to be distributed to low-income families through the Second
Harvest Food Bank. The Farmers’ Market operates May through October in Oberlin. The
Market is open to the general public.
Hours:
- Saturdays from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm.
- In mid-summer the market is also open on Wednesday afternoons from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
