Duke thinks that there shouldn't be a concentration camp. He thinks that if there were, he wouldn't be in it. Duke is just confused about the whole subject. He thinks that it is very foolish that people talk about concentration camps.

James thinks that the Americans and the Japanese should be together, because he sees behind the color. He has lots of Japanese friends. He thinks that it is an ignorant idea to separate the Japanese from the Americans. He thinks that they should stop mistreating the Japanese-Americans.

B. Killa would like to cut hair, but he can't because it interferes with his school work. He thinks it sucks because there are no other places in town that can cut African-American hair. He is really mad about the situation, so he is going to try and help find another barber, but until then he has to cut his own hair. He doesn't cut it at all, so he grows an afro.
