Three sites along a Shelf to slope transect were deployed in 1993. The sites are offshore of Galveston TX.

OCS-mid: 76m, hardground

OCS-outer: 83m, greenish mud with burrows and small mud "volcanoes"

OCS-Slope: 362m, greenish mud

The hardground has never been sampled. OCS "outer" and "slope" were sampled in 1995.
