Problem Set 4
Deductive Logic
Phil 200
Spring 2010
Complete the
following exercises. The written answers are due in class on Monday, April 26. (Notice
the date change: the assignment was originally scheduled to be due
Friday April 23, but you now have an extra weekend to complete the
assignment.) The Grade Grinder reports must be submitted to me by 11:59pm on Monday, April 26 or else they will
be counted ONE DAY late.
PLEASE submit the Grade Grinder reports to me only once, and all at once if possible.
Making multiple submissions complicates the grading process. Also make
sure that the reports you receive from the Grade Grinder verify that I received the reports
as well. Any assignments that are submitted to me late will be counted as late, even if you submitted
them to yourself on time. It is preferred (but not required) that the
written portions are typed, not hand-written. If you electronically
submit your written answers, please make sure to cc the TAs (their
email addresses are linked below).
Refer
to the syllabus here
for a reminder of the late policy and honor code. Remember that you may collaborate with others on the
written portions, so long as
you appropriately cite those who helped you by listing their names at
the top of the sheets of paper you turn in. You may not collaborate with others on the
exercises you submit through the grade grinder. Some of the problems we
will be going over in class--an incentive to come to class! If your
written answer to one of the exercises benefits from our direct
discussion of it in class, please say so and note it on your work.
Please staple all pages or your written work, and make sure your
writing is legible. If you have any questions, please contact me or one
of the TA's: Sarah Blair (sarah.blair@oberlin.edu)
or Ben Lussier (blussier@oberlin.edu)
