Education:
I Graduated from Gilmour Academy in Gates Mills, OH in May of 1997. I have thus far completed one semester at Oberlin College.

Experience:
There are only a few classes which I have taken that I would consider helpful to this class. Durlng my senior year at high school I took an AP course on U.S. Government and an AP course on AP Comparative Politics. Last semester at Oberlin I took POLT 103: Political Change in America.

Although while I am not sure that it will be very applicable, my high school tried to stress group work. I think that may help me for this course, but I am not sure.

Personal:
I am initially shy, but once I feel comfortable I will be active. It just may take me a few days.

Goals:
Honestly I am not sure what to think about this class. It is definitely different that what I expected. My basic goal is just to survive the class, but I want to do more. I hope to come out of this class with a better ability to judge because right now, like many people my age, I have a tendency to make rash decisions.

Library Tool:
I am not sure what I would say I am in command of. Most of my research in the library consists of manually trudging through books and other resources to find information. I tend to learn about what I am using as I go along.
