The libraries welcomes gifts-in-kind of resources that support collecting goals and that supplement current holdings.  Gifts of scholarly libraries and special collections materials, including rare books and materials that illustrate the history of the book in all cultures, are particularly desirable.  Gifts-in-kind may be made either outright or as bequests.

Recent gifts of special materials include the Eric Selch Collection in the History of American Music, the James and Susan Neumann Jazz Collection, and the Ruth Hughes Collection of Artists’ Books.

See the policy for gifts-in-kind.
