DESCRIPTION
Set the function generator to about
25 kHz. Use the coil to probe the magnetic field between plates.
When the coil is placed between the capacitor plates with its
plane perpendicular to the magnetic field an induced emf is observed,
similar to that seen if the coil is placed next to the connecting
wires.
NOTES
At high frequencies, capacitive
coupling between the coil and the capacitor plate produces a signal
even
in the wrong orientation.
