** The 2005 International Ferret Symposium will be held in St. Louis, MO, April 29-May 1, 2005. **

The International Ferret Congress was formed in April 2002 to provide educational events for ferret owners and lovers. The first such event was the Forum at the Falls, Niagara Falls, NY, September 21, 2002. The 2003 International Ferret Symposium was held in Atlanta, Georgia, October 3-5, 2002. See the IFC web site for details on past and future events.


Past Residents: See descriptions and pictures of ferrets adopted from the shelter in 1998.

Sitting Services: We provide ferret sitting services in a loving home atmosphere while you are away.

Memorial: This page is a memorial to shelter residents and others who have passed over the Rainbow Bridge.

Phoenix the Cleveland Ferret: Phoenix was accused of attacking an infant. Local ferret activists were successful in having him quarantined for 10 days and then turned over to the Ferrets Unlimited Ferret Shelter.

The Mink: Two mink have been turned into area ferret shelters. Read about them here.
