...to the official website for the Oberlin College Aerialists (OCA). The OCA is a student club for students who enjoy climbing high off the ground, hanging upside down in mid-air, and performing feats of skill and daring. Established in Fall 2009, the group institutionalized a long tradition of circus aerials at Oberlin. We practice and play on a variety of equipment including corde lisse, aerial silks, static trapeze, and lyra.

Akemi Berry ('12) performs in the 2010 OCircus! spring show.

Practice Schedule
We have several scheduled practices each week in Hales Gymnasium. This semester, these are Tuesday, 6:30 to 9:00 PM, Thursday, 10:00 to midnight and Sunday, 7:00 to 10:00 PM. We also can be found practicing on Friday afternoons from 4:30-6:20 when the weather is bad, and on Sundays from 12:00 to 2:00 and 4:00 to 6:00 during OCircus!'s skillshare.

Performances
The club has two officially scheduled showcases each year with the Oberlin Tumbling Club. Additionally, some aerialists choose to perform in the OCircus! spring and commencement shows.
