World AIDS week awareness warrants thanks To the Editors: World AIDS Week serves as a potent reminder of the many individuals affected by HIV/AIDS and the continuing struggle to fight the spread of HIV infection, to raise awareness and increase educational outreach. In support of this cause, I would like to thank the numerous organizations on campus that seek to address HIV/AIDS issues, including: the Peer-to-Peer Testing Program (which conducts confidential and anonymous testing on Mondays 6 p.m.-11 p.m., Thursdays 5 p.m.-10 p.m. and Sundays 6 p.m. -11 p.m. in Wilder 301), HIV Educators, HIV Educators ExCo, Global AIDS Group, Student Health and the Office of Health & Life Skills Education. I give my sincerest gratitude to these groups and all individuals who strive to make a difference in this most important cause. —Sam Bracamonte, College senior, Co-coordinator, HIV Peer-to-Peer Testing Program Chair, HIV Educators
