It was good to see the article in last week’s Review about former Poet Laureate Billy Collins. Oberlin students may be interested to know that some of Collins’ poems, including “You, Reader” appeared first in

FIELD Magazine—the poetry journal published by Oberlin College Press.

FIELD has been publishing Collins’ poetry since 1978, and has served as a springboard for many poets who have gone on to become nationally recognized.

FIELD and the Oberlin College Press operate out of the basement of Rice Hall, and are some of the College’s best kept secrets.
