Union talks stalled; strike votes completed

The campus United Auto Workers moved quickly to conduct a strike vote Thursday night amidst College assertions that the union’s overwhelming rejection of a proposed contract on Tuesday did not signal the collapse of negotiations.
OCOPE members not satisfied with health care plan

Yeomen gut out a win over Capital

Fans packed the bleachers for the first Yeomen match of the school year. The Oberlin College men’s soccer team tipped off the 2004 fall sports season on Wednesday with a 1-0 win over Capital University of Columbus, Ohio.
Griffins top field hockey

The Oberlin College field hockey team lost their first game of the year to the Seton Hill Griffins last Wednesday. The Yeowomen avoided the shutout when first-year Christine Politis assisted junior Christine Castilla with 22:20 to go in the second half. The final score was 3-1.
