Three weeks have passed since The Oberlin Review has been published. That means there have been three weeks for atheletes of the week since then. The best perfromances of the week belonged to members of the cross country teams. Senior Shannon Fox became the NCAC's runner of the year when she repeated as conference champion in the championships at Denison University Saturday. At the same meet, senior Alex Dawe finished second in the men's race and had a personal best in the five-mile race. Junior Harsha Thirumurthy was right behind Dawe at that meet, running to a third-place finish. All three of those runners were named first-team all-conference. Senior Kit Wells and first-year Rebecca Grossman were also all-conference performers baseed on their runs at Denison. Both the men's and women's teams will compete at the Great Lakes Regional meet at Otterbein College Nov. 9. | ||
