Major concerns are beginning to emerge from long-range planning focus groups. President Dye and Dean Cole-Newkirk presented two of the more pressing issues to the Conservatory Faculty Committee on Tuesday. The same issues will be introduced to the general faculty next week.

Peggy Kahn OC `74 presented her most recent research to students last week. Kahn has studied the impact of non-traditional shifts on women and families. Kahn suggested neither the union nor the state is capable of ameliorating the problem.

OASIS arranges to build brand new home

Building based on desgin by senior Aaron Campbell
OASIS Animal Shelter, which has long provided a home for stray animals, will soon have a new home of their own. The new shelter was designed by senior Aaron Campbell. Members of OASIS hope the construction is completed by next year.

Students experience, learn about disabilites
SOBIE hosted the Disability Fair this week. Members of the community were invited into the `Sco to increase their understanding of a range of different disabilities. A number of demonstrations were utilized to promote awareness of emotional, physical, learning and medical disabilities.
