The Plague, Oberlin's club ice hockey team, won its season opener at Case Western Reserve University Friday with a boost of two goals from sophomore Greg Scranton. Scranton is a transfer from Villanova University and should give the Plague a season-long boost.
For his effort in the Plague's infestation of Case, Scranton is this week's athlete of the week. He is the first non-varsity athlete to win the honor this year.
