Oberlin's athletes did what they do best this Fall. They played their socks off. Frequently the teams were young and inexperienced, depleted or else hindered by a wide range of injuries. In spite of this, the teams all enjoyed themselves and are looking forward to next year.

The football team won their first game in four years, the field hockey team finished the season with a tournament win, the men's soccer team gelled into a strong cohesive unit, the cross country team sent nine runners to regionals, the women's soccer team improved their record to 4-15 with two conference wins, and the volleyball team played one of the most inspired games of the year to close out their season.
