We all come at hip-hop from different locations, and we all maintain it in different ways. This workshop brings together artists, mcs, journalists, authors and spoken word poets in hopes of better defining what we mean when we say "We are all hip-hop."
3:30-4:30 pmSEXUAL POLITICS OF HIP-HOP W/ MEDUSA, DJ PAM THE FUNKSTRESS OF THE COUP, RYAN CANTY A PRIESTESS, A PIMP, A HO, AND A PUNK-A conversation on the continuous players in hip-hop. This is not your usual "hip-hop equals misogyny," but more about the possibility of hip-hop transforming ideas and actions about sexualities, "manliness," sensuality, constructions of gender, and "femininity."
