The year in dance was, as usual, innovative and entertaining. From jazz and tap styles to the bungee cord action of Oberlin Dance Company and the performance installations of \twelv\, the '97-'98 year crossed boundaries between dance, art and theater. And while traditional theater took mainstage, dance held its own through sucessful faculty recitals as well as student semi-annuals like VIBE and Spring Back.
