What's your best Halloween story?

All Hallow's Eve: A night for ghosts, ghouls, and you.

Rebecca Lincoln, College junior.
When I was in eighth grade it snowed 29 inches in three or four hours. However, it didn't stop me from trick-or-treating.

Andy Karlson-Webber, College sophomore.
I'm having a bonfire this weekend. Everyone come to it.

Christopher Rohlfs, College junior.
Halloween 1990 my brother had recently turned 16 and gotten his driver's license. He was not allowed to take the car without permission, but in the middle of the night he took the car out joyriding. He picked a street in which he remembered to be very long, and began driving very fast. The street was not as long as he expected and he crashed into a guard-rail at the end of the road. He had a short walk home

A Very Scary Skeleton

Geoff Chaplin, College senior.
In 12th grade, a close friend and I decided we wanted some candy, and so we went around dressed in black turtlenecks smoking strong cigarettes and trick-or-treating. When asked the inevitable question regarding our costumes, we'd scowl and say, "We're existentialists, or course." I think that cut down on the amount of candy we got.

Shira Schlesinger, College senior.
I play field hockey and we have an away game this Saturday which we're planning on playing in zombie gear. Our captains practiced today in full costume.

Chris Anton, College freshman.

I think Oberlin is generally a scary enough place.

Fola Akinyemi, College junior.
I saw some girls from my high school dressed up in really weird costumes. For example, one girl was dressed up like a garbage bag. All I did was laugh at them.

Rob Almony, College junior.
At the school I used to attend they had the tradition of showing "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" at midnight. I watched it with several hundred other people in the school's largest auditorium.
