"We expect to leave more than a few rivals sprayed with the soggy mud kicked up in our wake."
College senior Johnson caught 6 passes for 116 yards in Oberlin's otherwise disastrous 70-12 loss at Case Western Reserve University last Saturday (see article page 24). This follows another strong effort the previous week in Oberlin's heartbreaking 19-14 loss at Earlham, where Johnson caught 8 passes for 111 yards. Up until the last two games, this season had been a disappointing one for Johnson, who last year set Oberlin single-season records for receptions and yards received. |

In their final home game of the year, Oberlin looks for its first victory versus lowly Kenyon. Come out to Dill Field and cheer on the Yeomen who fought hard this season.

IN THE LOCKERROOM WITH...Ingrid Rhinehart
Basically, I try to do a little bit of anything and everything. That entails sealing envelopes, preparing videos, showing recruits around and all the paperwork associated with recruiting.
It's hard to say. Recruiting classes have gotten bigger every year, so our program is steadily improving. Every year is different, though. One way that we distinguish ourselves from other schools like Wittenberg is that we do not attract recruits by dragging other schools through the mud. We do not believe in "negative recruiting."
There's so much going on right now. A few years ago, the program was in disarray, and no one took it very seriously. Under coach Pete Peterson, the team has improved dramatically and the recruiting program has become more efficient. With him on board, the future is bright. If he were to leave, it would be hard to think about the future of OC football.
This year we've had a lot of disappointments - injuries, key prospects deciding to become science scholars, you name it. But the team we have this year is better than its record would indicate. And we should have won that Earlham game.
You can't ask me that! He's my boss! Please understand, I love Marv Levy to death...but I would have to say Pete.
Sometimes.
I don't have one. I don't like them that much.
I hate Parents' Weekend. It adds stress to our already stressful lives. I believe that the College just wants to torture us by giving us one more thing to worry about.
Yes. My mom will be arriving tomorrow. I can't wait.
