Feb. 17, 10:55 a.m. Officer responded to a report that a delivery truck damaged the landscape at the Conservatory.
1:05 p.m. Officer transported a student, who had suffered a seizure in Kettering to Urgent Care for treatment.
Feb. 18, 12:20 a.m. Officer and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a room smoke detector alarm in Dascomb Hall. The alarm was activated because of a malfunctioning smoke detector.
4:47 a.m. Officer responded to a theft of a wall clock from the women's locker room at Philips Gym. The wall clock was large and round with white facing.
Feb. 19, 1:20 a.m. Officer responded to a report of a broken window in the door at the northeast basement area of Wilder Hall. A work order was filed for repair.
Feb. 20, 4:25 a.m. Officer responded to a report of a person tampering with a vending machine in the main lobby of South Hall. A visitor was attempting to retrieve a purchased item which was caught in the machine. The visitor was requested to leave the item in the machine until the vending company could make a repair.
5:52 a.m. Officer responded to a report that an Oberlin Police Department Officer arrested and cited a student to Oberlin Municipal Court for underage consumption on East College Street.
10:38 a.m. Visitor reported that a guest speaker initiated a verbal confrontation with her and her friend. The alleged incident occurred in Wilder Hall on Friday, Feb. 19.
6:35 p.m. Officer and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm on the first floor of Noah Hall. The alarm was activated by food that had been burned in the kitchenette.
10:03 p.m. Officer responded to a report that an attempt had been made to gain unauthorized entry to Burton Hall bike storage. The door knob was dismantled by an unknown person.
Feb. 21, 1:29 a.m. Officer responded to a report that two students who share a room in South Hall were receiving prank phone calls. Three calls, which occurred between 1 a.m. and 1:29 a.m. were harassing in nature by the caller requesting to meet the recipient of the call.
2:46 a.m. Student returned to find an offensive sign posted on his door, "Beware of Pervert." Several students share living accommodations in the room.
10:51 a.m. Officer and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm on the second floor of Fairchild. The smoke detector had been activated by scorched food on a pan while a resident was cooking.
Feb. 22, 2:10 a.m. The two magnetic signs on the Safety and Security shuttle van were reported missing.
8:00 a.m. Allen Memorial Art Museum employee reported receiving an inappropriate fax, soliciting transfer of funds, which was sent to the museum.
11:18 a.m. Officer responded to a fire alarm in the basement of Asia House. The alarm was activated by smoke from hot cooking oil.
6:38 p.m. Student reported the theft of a wallet from an unlocked locker in the men's locker room at Philips Gym. The wallet contained a Master Card, two Lorain National Bank Cards, Oberlin College ID and a California drivers license when it was placed in the locker.
Feb. 23, 12:15 a.m. Officer responded to a reported theft of a dry erase board from a room door in Noah Hall. The erase board measured 10" x 12", was white in color and was valued at approximately $5.
1:53 p.m. Officer responded to a reported theft of a computer mouse from an office in Peters Hall. The mouse, which was last seen in the office on Monday, Feb. 22, is valued at $66.
8:50 p.m. Parent reported that they were unable to locate their daughter after her music lesson in the Conservatory. After checking the building, officers learned that she had been picked up by another relative and taken home.
