Trick Daddy
Right off the bat I wasn't sure about this album. The low budget computer graphics on the cover had me thinking this was going to be another nickel and dime copy of Master P. However, while this is about as far from my style as they come, Trick Daddy is actually pretty hot. Combining Florida bass beats and dirty south flavor, Trick Daddy fuses together a sound that will definitely get you dancing.
If you're not familiar with Trick Daddy, he's the guy who sings "Nann." Believe me, if you've gone to any clubs in Cleveland recently you've danced to it. "I'll Be Your Other Man" is another danceable song that may also be soon getting heavy rotation in the clubs. "Back In The Days" and "Living In A World" shows another side of this artist, combining infectious beats with a little conscious reflection.
Trick Daddy is a style that takes a little getting used to. Like Juvenile, he'll have you singing along with him - even if you're a little embarrassed about it.
