COMMENTARY

What are people doing for Winter Term?

Katia Brock is a College sophomore:
I'll be in Mexico making a video documentary on Western Sufism. It's a religious group that's a division of Muslim.

Kayla Blatchley is a College sophomore:
I'm reading black modernist novels. I just can't wait. It's gonna be super.

Heather Van Aelst is a Vollege senior:
I'll be working on my honors project while trying not to go insane. The two are not necessarily connected.

Ellen Snyder is a College sophomore:
I'll be going home and translating Greek while trying to keep my brother out of jail.

Amanda Barnum is a College junior:
I'm going to get pregnant and see if I can give birth within the month. It'll be a crack baby, but I'll love it anyway.

Karin Stothart is a College first-year:
I'm going to dissect bodies in a morgue. I'm looking forward to ski season.

Michael Lebovitz is a College sophomore:
I only know what half of my Winter Term will be, but for half a credit I'll be doing the Acting for Camera project. I'm gonna be a movie star for Winter Term.

Catherine Bodnar is a College first-year:
I'm going to be doing an externship with a vet in my hometown. Basically I'll be doing observing and all that cool stuff.

Jason Goss is a College first-year:
I'll be doing a writing, recording, performance project. I have five shows with my band, four shows by myself, and five recording sessions to record new songs for my next CD. Basically, try to write as much as I can.

Mike Blum is a College first-year:
I will be reading anarchist theory while here on campus.
