COMMENTARY

What do think about Nancy Dye taking a sabbatical?

Dana Cheit, College first-year:

I don't really care because the only run-in I've had with Nancy Dye is at the frisbee party where she was on the scavenger hunt list and they had to bring her to the party. That's the only interaction I've had with Nancy Dye all semester.

Sam Withrow, College first-year:

I'm not really that familiar with the College. I've only been here two semesters. It's fine with me.

Catherine DeLazzero, College senior:

I think it's fine.

Naomi Twery, College sophomore:

I haven't really thought about it that much. I guess it's good for her to see what's going on in college programs outside the country.

Jeff Scheur, College sophomore:

I'm indifferent. I'm completely indifferent.

Benjamin Holt, College junior:

I guess this is my chance to usurp the presidency.

Emily Render, College sophomore:

I wonder why she is leaving. It's kind of sketchy.

Yakup Mete Sener, College junior:

I don't really like the idea that she's taking a sabbatical.

Marianna Leavy-Sperounis, College first-year:

I think if it will help her as president of the College then it's good for her, but I don't know how it's going to affect us as students.

Stacey Menear, College senior:

I don't really care.

Elizabeth Hassett, College sophomore:

I don't care.

Adam Bishop, College junior:

I think it's fine that she takes a sabbatical as long as her replacement is able to run the College as efficiently as she has during her tenure. She also teaches so I think she has the right, like other professors, to take a sabbatical.
